Successful Mid-term Review at the University of Reading

Meeting of all project participants marks the halfway point of the LegumePlus project

All current participants of the LegumePlus project have met at Reading University earlier this month to undergo the project mid term review, accompanied by a representative from the EU.

During the review project partners were asked to introduce themselves and their work to the EU officer, Sandrine Jacobs, including presentations from the researchers highlighting their experiments and results so far.

Researchers also took part in various additional a-la-carte training workshops including Innovation and Leadership Development, provided by the Henley Business School and Communication Training provided by Pete Moore Communications.

Members were also treated to very helpful talks by Professor Gary Waghorn from Dairy NZ, New Zealand, Professor Andreas Luescher from the Agroscope Research Institute, near Zurich, Switzerland and Dr Leslie Brown from AECS-QuikPrep Ltd, UK.

We are happy to report that the project is running very successfully under the watchful eye of project coordinator, Professor Irene Mueller-Harvey, and is well on-track for the remaining two years of research.
